| E.g. 245/40-18 245 is the width of the tire in mm. 40 is the "profile," used to calculate height of the side wall. In this case, 245mm x 40% = 98mm, so the sidewall is 98mm thick. 18 is the size of the wheel. Stock rims are 16" in diameter, so you can't mount any of those tires on stock rims.
